Re: Question about GW Bush and Global Warming

Oh, silly me, I should have known after all this time that instead of giving me an opinion based on proven facts, you just attack the messenger.<br />
That same scientist said he was pressured from the Clinton administration to "spin" the science to be worse than the findings. And this adminisration pressured him to "spin" the findings less. <br />He thought both "spins" were unethical.<br />Funny cowpattys though, when we need facts and qualified opinions, many trust politicians (apparently unconditionally).<br />A perfect crew to navigate deNile. :p

Skinnywater,<br /><br />That just shows this guy doesn't have a political agenda. <br />Plus, Clinton has been out of office for 5 years now. Don't you think think science has learned a lot in 5 years?

Re: Question about GW Bush and Global Warming

Hey, ya know what? I heard the sun is going to become a red giant and consume the earth someday. That does it for me---we need to elect democrats and America needs to surrender its prosperity and its sovreignty to the UN because it would make a bunch of crackpot third world dictators happy. Makes perfect sense to me.

Pointer, <br />The "junkscience" web site you provided was from 1997. Do you think you could provide us with something a little more up to date? I mean there has been a lot of studies since then and a lot of scientist that weren't originally on board on global warming thing have now become believers.

Pointer,<br /><br /> :D :D :D Your unbelievable! All three of the web site you provided were just about ten year old studies.<br /><br /><br />"Against Nature—Part I of III (Broadcast by Channel 4 in the UK, 1997) <br />The Lack Of Scientific Rigour In Environmentalist Ideology"<br /><br />Ten years is a lifetime in science these days. I don't make a habit of ready ten year old studies. Sorry Pointer. :(

:D :D You see folks, once we can get you right wingers off of the subject of "cow farts", and onto some real science it becomes easy to debunk your theories. :p ;)

Newtons laws of motion are how old? Does that make for antiquated science? You really should try and cheer up and find something positive to occupy your time with. Please tel me you have something more than the age of a document in your attempt to discredit it.Oh and ,try to inject some specifics if you have any.Generalizations are simply not good enough if you're going to attempt to discredit anything.Bring some knowledge to the table or kindly refrain from uncontrolled finger pointing.
