Yes, you will stimulate the economy by buying a new car sooner....Nobody's denying that natural temperature trends happen. Of course there are climate changes regardless of what humans do. The point being made by those who are concerned is that we are hastening the changes through our actions, and that we can do things to slow down these changes.
My car's undercarriage will eventually rust through whether I like it or not. Does that mean I should just go down to the beach and drive around in the surf, since there's nothing I can do about it?
The process of climate change can be slowed down, but it's either going to take some major lifestyle changes or some major technological advances.
If Greenland becomes green again, most of us will be living in Brownland.
