Re: The R?surrection of the SeaGem
Well I had a bad day with the Sea Gem Today. I got out to it at 6:30 this morning and PL'ed the motor mount stringer in I had kindergarten orintation for caity at 10 so I figured it would be cured enough when I returned home to start glassing.
All went well I got home, and hit it with 2 layers of 1708 made sure there were no air bubbles, stayed with it for a 1/2 hr afterward making sure all was perfect. While waiting on it I went over to my other project and started cutting apart the rest of the deck, Ia remembered my grinder was on the Sea Gem so I went back to get it
AND this is what I found
A crazy amount of air bubbles on the one side
I have no idea how it happened, there was plenty of resin all was completely saturated. Now I have to grind them out tomorrow and re-glass Grrrrrrrrr Thats not the worst of it though, if you look at my other project in a few I will be posting that DOOM & GLOOM
