Fireman-Skipper Skip says that's why he doesn't fly, they won't let him run the joy stick! And he only goes to malls that serve beer! I came out of a dressing room once in a bikini and said, 'How do you like it?' somebody else's husband said, "I do!" I could have turned Skipper's life insurance in then, but it wasn't enough!
We've had a good time photgraphing and talking with the fishermen here, and I got my bait bucket (with aerator) and crab trap home (in a taxi!) so today we are heading out for Peck Lake to try out the trap. the insurance check is on the way. Skipper's SS check is NOT!!!! No one updated his account so we may be poor until March!, Oh well, we' just have to pee off the deck and go without bathing and anchor in some quiet cove and eat what fish we can catch, (but I have enough beer for at least a week. I think!) anyway, we're on the move and looking forward to June! Woo! Hoo!.

I'd love to but it's not very likely I'll be able to..... I'm subscribed and following along just in case but I have my doubts.
Fuel alone would cost me nearly $500

It would be quite a drive for you, it is only about 3 to 3 1/2 hours for me, one tank of gas each way in the car, and depending on the price then who knows what the cost may be, right now about $80, hope the price does not go up too much more. I will say that if you can make it you will have a great time with a great group of crazy people. lol.

Haven't looked at this thread in a while. Since their's now dates I did some research.

1800 miles round trip. Factoring in everything it would be a little cheaper to fly since we would
spend 4 days on the road. Total cost of the trip $1150. :facepalm: Are you guy's worth it?

Turks and Caicos in March is sucking up our travel budget big time. (Sasto's fault).

And I know as soon as The First Mate (grannyd) is off work for the summer in May we are going
to have to go visit the 4 yr. old grandaughter who moved to Colorado recently.

I know excuses, excuses, but it's not looking good for the Third Central Florida Get Together. :redface:

OOOOOKaaaaa, I have the plan for you, the trip to Colorado via Florida, leave home by air to central Fl, recover from the weekend on the plane to Colorado. That way you get the best of both worlds.

I do understand what you are saying, a lot of expense with all that you have planned. So, enjoy whatever it is you do to the fullest, take lots of photos and post here so we can enjoy with you.

I LIKE IT ! +1 on enjoying things to the fullest. Life is short, it's only money and time, both of which will be gone when we leave this earth. June 9th is still aways off, you never know.....

From what I've heard...... their might be one or two jack***es at "The Get Together", no one has mentioned
any name's though.

The donkey pic is quite accurate, all the rentals on Salt Cay have fence's with gates to keep the donkeys out.

Just 'cause a couple us look like a jack$$$ doesn't mean we are one. But then again...add a couple IPA's and lets see what happens.

I hope some of the other guys can make it. We are a fun loving group with not a worry in the world when we are together. Very laid back and enjoy each others company and stories. Put that along with Fireman and Stick being wonerful people and hosts to be around, I don't think it can get much better than that. No schedules.....No worries!
