mrdjflores,
I guess I should have said coat it. Bilge kote, paint,or maybe Gelcoat.
Not sure yet.
As for the storm. I think I'm covered but to be honest if it gets wet at this point, I'm not that worried, I have no unprotected wood. Everything is encased in glass.
Thanks for looking.

Ahhh. Nice clean work from now on. :)

That shifter will look great in there. You'll be powering through waves in no time. I'll save the info on the shifter as I'll probably be bolting one in but not till next year. Mine will have to do for now otherwise I'll never finish.

We had a nice storm today. 60 mph winds and rain/snow. Hopefully you won't be needing your tarp for shedding any more snow :)

Re: Timid but determined Glasstream restoration

sprintst,
Thanks.
I still have some glass left to do but I can see the end.
High wind, rain, and snow doesn't sound very good.
We just got the wind and rain last night.
I really hope that I don't need the tarp to often anymore either.
I got a good price on the shifter too. I really like it so far. I don't think you can go wrong with it.
Thanks again.

How's the boat coming.

Weather, life, taxes and everything else gets in the way. Totalled up my gas receipts, etc last night at about midnight so I can hopefully drop off my taxes to get done. Those slimes owe me money.

mrdjflores, Thanks
The weekends, are all I have right now. I getting closer and closer. This week end weather permitting I plan to get the new deck cut and glassed on the bottom side, the center area's painted and may be pouring foam.
We'll see how it goes.
I hope you all have a great week.

Hey Bob

Turns out we got more than Boats in common. Check out some of my woodworking. Yours looks great. Like your router table and your vacuum press. My shop is tore all to H_ _ _ right now. Wife Has me in the middle of a Bathroom remodel. Hope to get back on the boat in a week or so. Yours is coming along. Keep at it.

Woodonglass,
That Doll house be is really pretty cool. I have that on my list of things to do. I have to build three beds for my grand kids too.
You would be surprised at all the other woodworkers on here. Archbuilder, Skibum1, Mountain_Man, Hope She Floats, and lowkee just to mention a few. Speaking of lowkee, I need to find out what's up with him.
Oh well,
Thanks for looking
Have a great day.

mrdjflores,
That would be cool.
I'll keep you posted and if it looks like I'm going to make it that far I'll give you a buzz.
I first priority is the paint and the deck prep.
I'll be glad to have you come down and check it out.
