Re: Whats On Your "Bucket List"?

HMMMmmm.. Let's see here.
I've done a lot of things I had not planned on doing, and still don't like planning on doing things I want to... Seems too greedy to think of my wants when the people around me have needs.

I kind of let things happen and if it was a good or educational experience I am grateful I lived through it;) and I am usually willing to share the tale, especially after a few beers:facepalm:. As for the rest of the things I have done, well let's just say if there's no pictures it didn't happen:eek::D

1. Buy something completely manufactured in the U.S.
2. Be governed by an honest politician.
3. Figure out what the impossible dream means.
4. Buy a computer and software that don't ever need upgrades.
5. Figure out why they call a logic based cell phone a smart phone. Being smart would imply the ability to reason.

Those are the fun ones, but in reality.. I'd really like to learn to play the piano well. Chop sticks I can do, Bethoven... in my dreams.

Have my wife just once say to me, "yes, you were right."

watched "Grinding The Crack" again and its as awe inspiring as the first time I seen it. Yeah, I'd put it on my bucket list, but only as the very last thing given the nature of it.

oh man...

60 minutes did a story on those guys and after watchin that...

i don't think there are too many people in the whole world who could attempt that

not only do you have to be an accomplished skydiver and mountainclimber, you have to be pretty nuts!!

Notice the word YOU. :D

I read right past that, Swabbie....thx. I feel redeemed now!!

And for those how haven't heard, Jeb Corliss (Grinding the Crack) crashed on his last flight and was severely hurt. I won't post the video link because I don't feel that needs to be shared. For those of you who are into that, it can be easily found. I posted the "Grinding" video earlier and was amazed at how many people would attempt it. I know I sure would....at least the one time....

Re: Whats On Your "Bucket List"?

Have been watching this thread and I have decided that my bucket list is:

1) Make a bucket list.

(Does that mean I am finished?)

HA, that's kinda where I am.

I have always wanted to
1) Take an extended RV tour of the US/Canada up through Alaska. Like a couple of years worth.
2) Spend a couple of years sailing around the Caribbean
3) Tour with Jimmy Buffett
All this and meeting new people and experiencing new things
