1966 Starcraft Holiday 18ft, with original Evinrude 100-s pulled 25.5mph on the factory speedo (pitot), but I know that my prop is undersized at 12x14. I'm heading out tomorrow with a GPS, different trim settings, and a functional tach to repeat the run. It pulls hard and planes fast, but also reaches top speed too quick. Looking for another prop.

Went out with the GPS and ran a best of 29.7mph with 2 adults, 2 kids, and 10gal of fuel. I need a new prop!

1973 21' Mariner, 1985 Johnson V90, full tank 18 gal. 2 kids, wife and I, 13 1/4 , 17 prop. 4800rpm, 20 year old gps 38.1, Bottomline fishfinder 38.5, Garmin fishfinder 49.5 ????

No PTT, I want to raise up the motor 1" and move it out 1 stop and see what happens.

I was out on Lake Winnibigoshish with 3 buds of mine this past weekend (One hell of a story coming too once I get pics to go with it!). So we had 800 pounds of guys, 4 tackle boxes, 12 gallons of fuel, 2 batteries, numerous fishing poles, a bucket full of water and minnows, leeches, 2 nightcrawlers packs, a pack of wax worms, 1 large and 1 small cooler full of ice and beer and I hit 38mph going in to a light wind without trim, forgot about it!

50 plus 22 Holiday 75 200 hp Johnson with 9.9 4 stroke kicker-- 2 batts 2 scotty DR and 8 weights and 23 gal fuel just me and my Bota. 141/4 prop with 21 pitch at48 to5000 Rpm usually stay around 25=35 mph. loads of electronics.I hate Ethinoll( sp ) Pugetsound

1973-18' holiday / 1975 evinrude 70 hp -- top out at about 28 mph.

Signature boat - GPS said 35, two adults & 3 kids on board. Select trim not currently working either, so maybe I can eek a few more MPH out of her next year.

On my 2nd trip with the 77 Supersport 18 with a 2001 Suzuki 115 4 stroke, 3 guys in the boat, got it to 45 mph.

Not to dig up an older thread, but. 1991 starcraft sfm190 with mercury 2.0 150hp 47mph gps. I'd like to see what a 22' mariner with a
strong 225hp will run. Hopefully one day I'll find out firsthand.

1975 Holiday 200 HP Johnson loaded with gear 23 gal gas.2 batts 2 downriggers. and a 9.9 4 stroke kicker 50 mph plus but that is to D-- Fast for longevety of the set up.
