    Thank you. 5.0GL-E is confirmed. The second picture is, unfortunately, blurry. Put your hand around the back side of the HX/cooler opposite where the broken “nub” is. If there’s a hose attached back there, what broke is No. 18. If a cap and clamp, then it’s the P/S hose (part number 3852839).

    What’s circled in the drawing is a tee, hose and “exhaust manifold thermostat” for a catalyzed motor. I’ll check the serial number later this morning. Considering the posted year and product description, 5.0GL-E, this is the wrong drawing because this isn’t a catalyzed motor.

    Thank you. The operating range for this motor is 4,600 to 5,000 RPM. The data file shows 4,700 RPM, which is in range. What is causing you to suspect there’s an issue? P.S. By serial number, 5.0OSi-E. Same as -C and -D, just later in the series.

    Battery. The boat has at least two, and when selected, groups them (parallel, 12v) together for starting. It’s not needed for starting unless batteries have been run down. For general use, don’t engage parallel.
