    Only Running on One Cylinder

Do a simple continuity test on the coil/spark wire. Check the connecter in the plug boot to make sure it is contacting the wire. (btw, should run with a 50:1 mix.)

    69 Johnson 25

Nothing more than unburned fuel draining out. Not a problem. Unhook the tank at the motor if you that that is causing an issue. Great fishing area.

    1977 Chrysler 10hp 100HA exhaust cover specs

Check for cover warping. Use a piece of glass or a similar hard surface, maybe your table saw. Permatex won't hurt. Torque bolts evenly.

    Running motor out of water

If you have already run it out of water to drain the bowls, you need to change out the impeller.

    78 85 hp johnson javelin

In a fuel sample, water would appear at the bottom (using a glass jar). Operating temp should be around 140F. 160F ia overheating, measured at top of heads. Too hot to touch is too hot to run. Impeller change is first priority if the motor is new to you.

Is it worth the work 66 Evinrude 15hp

Feathercrafts are good collectibles. I would find a '58 18hp or 35 in good shape, and go with that.

J50PLSTD miss fire over 3000RPM Idles fine. Compression is good

The operating temp of the engine, measured at the top of the head. Too hot to touch is too hot. I wouldn't run it until I changed the impeller.

1982 15HP Evinrude dies around 2 min during fast idle

Check the top of the head for overheating (too hot to touch?) The hose clip to the motor might be the problem. Might try pushing in the ball with a phillips screwdriver (holding well away from your face), then reattach and try.

    1992 Evinrude 115 overheating

Have you checked the tops of the heads to see if there is overheating? Too hot to touch? Or with IR sensor, 160F.

Might be of some troubleshooting help: https://www.cdielectronics.com/support/ and perhaps this for the rectifier/regulator: https://www.maxrules.com/graphics/omc/wiring/1985_90_115TnT.jpg

Must have been plugged bypass passages. Temps are measured on the top of the block (not the face).

    225 cold start ?

Contaminated fuel? (I'm on a water-in-fuel or in electricals kick, given the humidity around here this summer.)

1994 15 hp Johnson Fuel Problem

Run the motor until it stalls before storage, then drain the bowl to be sure. If you think you have water in the fuel for whatever reasons, Drigas or an equivalent product is a good choice (methyl alcohol combines and burns).

    Foam in carburetor

gas evaporates quickly, cooling carb and metal fuel lines or connectors. On a summer day, that means condensation. Condensation is water, which doesn't burn worth a hoot.

1986 60 hp Johnson vapour lock?

Yes. Likely battery and/or starter. But use an adjustable open air tester -- should see a half inch (likely more). This is a test of the ignition system

    Foam in carburetor

You might try drigas (or similar) in the tank to control the condensation, just as you might for an icing problem.
