    A hose will almost never supply enough water to keep system "full", so one side will always run a bit hotter. To use a flush kit the seacock must be closed so all water from hose goes to motor and nothing goes out strainer

    Reminds me of something that might be on the output side of a mechanical fuel pump. Keeps fuel from draining back thru the pump when shut off, but just a guess

    Upper housing 88397A1 Lower housing 816575A3 but before you buy anything take it apart and see what is damaged. Seals don't just fail unless something else failed. Could be once you get into it might be a new drive, gears, bearings other things

    Thanks TKS carb, TBV ignition, electric fuel pump Correct if I miss something When you crank the motor it will fire up but won't be long before it dies. If try to give it gas it dies. If this is the case I would look at the oil pressure switch When the motor starts cranking power goes...

    Kind of, you should be able to blow thru it with very little pressure from your mouth, don't blow hard. You should not be able to blow thru it with more pressure going back toward the tank

    If you look new or after 2011 all IO have cats. This is main reason I went OB. Also nolonger need to hang upside down to change something. I stick with Merc because you can find help, no so easy with others

    The TB butterfly are factory set and if there is a gap or not I'm don't know. The IAC is what gives motor air otherwise

    Boring this motor is do different then boring any other motor (4.3, 350, 454, 502,etc) clear up to .060 Merc programs the ECM fat, so as it's bored there is still plenty of fuel

    Probably a bad diode Look at the fuel pump relay for 2 diodes. One comes from the key with a yellow/red wire attached. The other comes from the ALT with a green wire. I don't have a J diagram but here is the E Number 25 is the relay and below it are the diodes

    Correct 350 with longer stroke = 377 350 with longer stroke and bored .030 over = 383

    Pump part number shows as 8M0118177 But might be the internal lines are clogged and pump is ok
