    Might be the anchor set screws backed off and center wire slipped out. Remove the cable and plastic guide from the carb and see if it comes off when pulled

    New to me is anything with a computer. No way I'm buying a CAT motor The Techmate with adapter is good thru current CAT motors, just need different adapters. THe CAT motors require another 300 for adapters, but prior to that their around 50 each based on which ECM/PCM is installed

    My guess is your going to need to have the pump rebuilt or replaced. In the USA I would take it to a local diesel injection pump service and have them do it. You can go to www.volvopenta.com And find the pump, but it doesn't show any breakdown. It also doesn't show a AQAD31 so I used AQAD30
