    Without a t-stat 2 scenarios can happen...1) Motor can run too cold no matter the incoming water temp.     Bias circuit is in the switchbox and keeps timing on both switchboxes the same. Advance/idle module plays with the bias to ground circuit to advance/retard timing.

    Black means you got cylinder problems...tranny will work for now
