    No, I dont know why you would have adjusted the float. You may have a bad fuel pump diaphragm also. Which is why it is important to service those correctly with a quality kit.

    Mercury has 2 different connectors that look very similar. You need to find out which one you're uses. The serial # of the motor will tell you which one you need.

    You need the linkages for the remote throttle and shifter. You cannot use the tiller system for that. You also need to change the front bracket out. Where are you located?

    You need to replace the primer diaphragm. You should ave ordered a carb kit with the fuel pump and primer diaphragm. Did you make sure the check ball is not jammed in the spring under the primer?

    You do not care about idle timing. On muffs set the idle for 1100 rpm and if you have adjustable carbs set them at 1.5 turns out for a start.

    What did you use to seal it? You need to seal it with something like loc-tite 518.

    Ok I looked at mine and the 74-76 OMC coils should work. Are you sure you do not have bad set of points or condenser?

    Let me look at mine but I believe OMC coils work you just need to mount them. The 74-76 OMC 9.9/15 coils would probably be the best.

    Sorry spell check sucks. If you are talking about the primer ,one small nipple goes to the intake and one goes to the carb. Now if you have the third nipple behind the fuel pump. Then you need to tee off one of the smaller lines does not matter which one.

    Fuel in goes to the round piece on the pump. Out goes to the bottom of the carb and that line must be free off to the primer. Or are you resting the primer? Thing with the red lever?
