There are no marine Gen 2 motors other than a very small percentage of highly custom ski boat motors that were built in the early 90s by indmar. They were short lived.
Being MPI, rebuild it stock, or look at going stroker with a 6.2 ECM (then build it to the stock 6.2 specs)

no, its a 1996+ Gen 1 SBC engine with vortec heads.
the LT1 (gen 2) was a reversed cooling motor with specific reverse cooling heads for the LT1.
The LT1 was a passenger car only.

do the forward legs of the T-top have sail track welded to them so you could put side curtains?
I didnt see any
that is a very narrow boat. you will need to probably run side curtains out from the top down to the gunwales. which will limit you from getting to the bow.
