Mercruiser outdrive oil/liquid leak during winter

Your leaking on the outside, so start there. By the looks of your boots you may need to replace them also. In any case remove the bell housing to gain access to the hose Look at the inside hose to see if it also needs replacing and then see if there is enough access

    Mercruiser carburetor question

Doing anything on Muffs means nothing other then it will run Going from 4500 full load to idle can cause many motors to have trouble. Idle is set at 700 RPM and should maintain that under load (idling in the water in gear)

Wiring a kill switch to 85h chrysler magnapower

No The kill switch does the same thing as the key switch. To start the motor the key removes the ground from the magneto. To stop the motor the key grounds the magneto. Place the kill switch across the same 2 contacts of the key switch (2 mag terminals)

    Thermostat Housing Rebuild

Thanks Personally I wouldn't use any adhesive on anything. Only place I might use is the paper gasket but that would only be used if the surfaces were not smooth

    Alarms

I'm not a expert on OB, but all alarms work off a ground. Look for a Tan/Blue stripe wire. This wire applies a ground which turns the alarm on. Disconnecting the connection will stop alarm unless the wire itself is chuffed and grounding
