    The senders "should" (I say should) have port/starboard on their sides Both senders use the same wires so if your sure you have the wires for a given side, and the meter is connected on those same two wires, thenyou have a bad sender

    The solids will be the main issue. Can put chemicals in to reduce the smell. If it stays with mainly liquid (paper in a trash bag) you can pump it out your self with a shop vac. Then pour it down your toilet at home

    Wheel bearing grease The O-rings are all that is needed to seal the housing. I use a small amount of bellows adhesive to hold the O-rings in place

    Fuel use meter?

    Mercury Vesselview will show fuel usage/remaining but its just calculated from the boat/motor sensors. It knows how long the injector pulse width is and can guess on the amount of fuel used. It doesn't know if one injector is supplying more or less fuel then the other.

    It's the age old thing of it has to run better on high octane fuel, because its high High only means it burns slower, so if timing is set for low then use low because it burns faster Always use what manufacture requires for best performance

    If the senders are installed correctly (sender starboard, switch port) and your getting no reading using just the 2 leads, then sender is bad. Do rotate it all around to make sure. The switch will show a connection (zero ohms) until it opens

    The hinge pin (inside part) does turn with the drive. The outer housing of the limit (outside part) and sender don't move when attached to gimbal ring
