Electrical Issues after replacing trim switch/sensor 7.4 EFI/MPI

To melt the 90 amp and not have it just blow, wonder if someone prior replaced the fuse with a washer. Just keep looking and its most likely back by the starter

    Leaking Fuel Sender

My guess is the new one will not leak for maybe the same length of time it took the first one Could use another manufacture, just need to measure depth of tank and subtract one inch

    Leaking Fuel Sender

Agree they make things as cheap as possible, but the sender shouldn't leak and needs to be replaced.

Mercrusier 350 MAG MPI - RPM issue under a load

Is a puzzler, but even a scan tool in the hands of someone who knows how to use it should be able to determine what the issue is. Sounds like you wasted money with the first Mech. Hope the next is better.

Stalled while idling now it cranks but no star or sparks

Might have blown the 90 amp fuse on the starter. Looks square and there is a fuse inside it. Its mounted on the starter post, but it shouldn't crank if the fuse or the breaker blew

PLEASE HELP... I'm at a loss of what to do!

The prop isn't going to help us I'm going to go with the understanding that its a Gen 4 or 5 open cooled 454. Do you know if its fuel injected or carberated? The BBC would have a plug on each exhaust Manifold One plug on each side of the block, can be matted to a fitting on the starboard...

Bat power on one side of the breaker and no power on the other. The breaker tripped. Have you pushed the breaker to reset it?

2016 Mercruiser 6.2 ECT - long beep every few minutes???

12.85 - 12.2 = 0.65 or real close to a standard diode voltage drop Edit: keep in mind a fully charged LA Bat is 12.7

    5.0gi to 5.7 swap

Could always put a carb on it, but who want's to do that  Merc always sets things up fat on fuel. Being fat means less of a chance of being lean. Meaning, depending on the load (how much the boat and gear weight) it still may be ok with current program. Only way to know for sure is...

The engine stalled and no start while on the water

What ignition system does it have? Have you check the kill switch? When key is tuned ON is there 12V on the + side of the coil?

PLEASE HELP... I'm at a loss of what to do!

Look on top the motor for a serial number. It will be a number, probably 0, then a Letter, then 6 more numbers Exp: 0W123456. Take a pic of the motor and post it I'm also in KY

Try to retrace your steps, maybe something was disconnected Other wise trace 12V from the key to the coil with key on

Not getting a spark boat will not start

Its normally either on the shifter or next to it. The kill switch is required on all small boats for many years. It would have a teather cord attached to it and the other is on the driver incase they get thrown overboard Your boat might not have one since your asking

Merc Quicksilver Gen 2 Kill Switch

Yes, that is the kill switch Need to know if you have a 2 cycle or 4 cycle motor. The 2 cycle grounds the magneto to kill the motor, the 4 disconnects power Note the kill switch for this 2 cycle setup. Its connected to Magneto and to ground
