    ok, prior owner rebuilt carb because it was having problems would be my bet. Found out what the problem was and sold it instead of fixing. That is unless you have been using it recently and all was good. I would start with a compression test. What pitch prop is on the drive?

    Does appear to be loose. The newer PMG starters are 3 3/16 across. Need 3/8-16 x 3 5/8 long bolts like Dorman or ARP

    Ya know if you really want folks to try and help, we need more info If this is a new to you boat then there could be a whole bunch of things it might be If it isn't and it "did run great" last season then might just be the carb. Could also be a few other things. Otherwise kit the carb and...

    Agree mostly the carb, but the ASV can get partially clogged. Dont know enough info to make a good guess yet.

    Start with the motor which was not running and try to get it going first. Disconnect Bats from Bad motor (don't know which was running and caused the issue). Start tracing volatges

    Not knowing which drive, just go to a place like mercruiser parts or Mercury site and look up the drive. Then find the part. In most cases (not all) the parts will be listed with dimensions

    Normally it would only effect one engine, but I don't know how things are connected, or what voltages are at what locations and values. In short, not able to see what you see. Something is connected between the two otherwise it would not have changed anything on the other motor

    Yes that's the shaft Can also remove the vent plug to see if drive is full of lube

    I'm thinking the upper shaft or a gear broke Put it in gear and see if you can turn the prop. If you can turn the prop look behind the motor to see if the shaft going into the coupler turns

    The adapter cost that much, dang I bought 3 different ones years ago and they were only about 30 each. Tell me which one u need and can borrow it

    Maybe just get the adapter first and see if it supplies enough info to fix the issues, before upgrading to 3.3
