    A valve not seating correctly will be a loss in compression but will not put more pressure into the block. If a valve seal is missing or damaged, this will cause burning of oil but still nothing inside the block

    The rebuild was not done correctly. Blow by is caused by the rings not seating. The cylinders should have been bored with new oversized pistons installed. If if was just honed and new rings with old pistons then this could cause it Tell us more about what was done during rebuild?

    One side of the lights should have 12V and the other side will be grounded by the oil pressure switch or Alternator. With key ON should see 12V on only one side, if ground is not being applied to the other then you will see 12V on both sides of the bulb

    Might be ok With key ON and motor not running, there is no oil pressure and ALT is not working. Oil and ALT light would be ON along with beeper. Once motor starts, oil pressure comes up and ALT starts working and everything turns OFF

    So long as both drives are 1995 or newer there is no issue other then needing higher pitch props. What pitch you running now?

    No not simple. There is a coil, slave relay, trim relays on and around the motor which have exposed terminals. Gas fumes are heavier then air. Your taking a bit of actual info and expanding on it to meet your story.

    Negative Cable to the block and Positive cable to starter post. Take small gauge jumper and go from Positive post + side on the coil. This wire is hot wiring the ignition Now jump starter solenoid to crank the motor over
