    The motor uses 50 to 1 gas/oil mix and the Generator is built into the motor under the flywheel. Once motor is started it should produce power to the battery

    Your getting the 2 beeps, gauges come alive when the key is turned so its not the kill switch. Wouldn't have thought Bob would have said try another MEFI 4, like their everywhere right. (n)

    Another way and less mess but still needs to be in the water. Get a short piece of clear hose and a double barbed fitting from hardware store. Should be about 1 inch ID. Place it between T stat and hose from pump. Your looking for bubbles when running

    Water will come in from the pressure of the hose and not just the pump

    With boat in the water remove the hose going to the thermostat housing from the water pump. Start the motor and see if it come gushing or barely pouring out

    Agree with Ding but will add, if something happened and you sounded an sos I doubt anyone would come running. I monitor and would but were the one in a thousand or more on inland lakes. Get it if you wish, it won't hurt
