    Don't know if @achris is at home or nearby Being a 2014 would it happen to have digital controls or cable, and does it have Axius? When motor is running, look behind the motor to see if the drive shaft is turning When shifter is moving FWD/REV see if cable is moving the shift plate

    Agree, looks like exhaust over temp alarm Need to get the motor scanned If the smoke is only seen on one side it's probably a head gasket Edit: The volt meter showing below 14V so if its accurate then there is another problem

    The exhaust is water cooled so the heat should not be an issue, so long as it doesn't over heat.

    Just for a very short time, anything longer as Chris said it can over heat If you want to run it with the PS, connect the in and out lines together. Fill with fluid and can run all day. No pressure will build, fluid just circulates

    I would contact Merc tech support and ask My guess, since all Bravo's since 1995 will all have the same upper, and lowers swap without issue. Only issue to watch is gear ratio
