    The good thing is while were not rich, we don't need to find a cheap place. It would be a issue with the grand kids, but don't see them much now. FB is how we see them most, life just gets in the way I guess.

    Which wires were jumped? Check your ignition fuse, the one that is on the red/purple going to the key switch. If its blown then something in the TKS system is shorted. Most likely the water temp stitch or TKS module, along with the diode.

    Run a short time with no water would be good to get oil on everything. Don't know if it would be worth it without disassembly

    If your low on oil there would be an alarm and a code If coolant is low but not to low it may be a non-issue Have you check to see if power is at the 50 amp breaker when motor stops?

    Never heard one that sounded like that, that didn't have some major problems. Pull the drive and see if it quiets down. If it doesn't can start with exhaust and work your way into the motor. Need to get the water out before it starts rusting

    Clarify your term. For me it means the motor will not crank, so not turning over. Others use the term it cranks but will not start? If it does crank but not start. Do you get 2 beeps when the key is turned ON (run) before it cranks?
