    Only way to find is to look, and you already know where it can come from. Only other place is the exhaust pipe might have a pin hole or leak Dry it out, put in the water and stand on your head (so to speak) until you can see where its coming from Do understand not working on old boats. Guy...

    You should have 12V on one lead of the TKS module full time, doesn't matter if the key is ON or OFF. It comes from a 20 amp fuse which is connected to the red/purple wire coming from the 50 amp breaker

    Something isn't right. TKS is working when motor is first started. This says that the oil pressure switch works. Once warm temp switch is not applying a ground. The ground wire is not grounded, the wire going to ground side of TKS is broken or there is another bad connection. Check continuity...

    Reading your first thread I would think about disassembly of the lower. There is something wrong it the shift area.

    Start simple, check that all the plug wires are in place. Remove the distributor cap and see if something hasn't happened under it. If that is good, agree compression test

    That's bad, the gasket has some kind of gunk on it which is having issue with the electrical grounding of it.

    Good spark, good gas and it doesn't fire, doesn't make since. Gas down the TB and good spark would make a back fire if nothing else. Something that appears to be happening is not. Just doesn't add up
