Temperature Fluctuates - 2015 350 mag mpi ec

This pic is a bit off. Cold water should go into the thermostat, then out to the exhaust. The valves at the bottom of the manifolds are used for draining only. Water should not be able to go up and in thru those check valves

1998 VP 5.0Gi looses power, maybe in protection mode

If pressure gets low enough it will go into protection mode as Bruce mentioned. If it did that it should throw a code which could be seen on a scanner

3.0 Mercrusier shorted out ground wire

Yes its a bonding wire to keep the outdrive grounded. The drive needs to have a good ground for the Mercathode to work. If you don't have a Mercathode or don't keep the boat moored in the water, then its not needed

Temperature Fluctuates - 2015 350 mag mpi ec

You say there are block drains so you should have the 7 point drain system and not the 3 like the one in the link https://www.hardin-marine.com/s-2651-standard-cooling-system-bravo-air-3-and-7-point-drain.aspx Use a IR temp gun and get some readings off the thermostat housing. If temp readings...

    Mercruiser 4.3 tks

Going from a 4bbl to a 2bbl will not make the boat run slow. The 2bbl reduction in HP is not that much. The carb leaking gas could cause the reduction in speed. If you do a compression test it will tell the health of the motor

    Mercruiser 4.3 tks

Not real sure of all the questions your asking, but will try to answer what I think your asking There is nothing wrong with the TKS carb, but could also replace it with a Merc 2bbl or Rochester 2GC carb, and would cost less The ease of getting the broken bolt out all depends on how it broke...

    wiring slave solenoid

Jump at the starter and get one click, this shows its either the starter, weak battery or bad connections with the battery cables A fully charged battery is 12.7V Reading 12.43 means its still good If cables are clean and tight then you need a starter, or need it rebuilt

    wiring slave solenoid

Your drawing shows a slave relay and the starter solenoid. The slave is also being caused a solenoid which is ok So far as a click, multiple clicks or no click means different things, and this all depends on what testing tells us A solenoid is a electric switch. When it clicks it closes the...
