    The part number is correct but coming from Amazon it can be rolling the dice. Might be good but may also be counterfeit. It says replaces that number. Does list sierra impeller 18-3058 Might also be how your assembling. The housing should mount flush with no need to press and pull into place

    Yes, there should be no need to use bolts to bring the housing flush What was the kit part number your using?

    npt and inverted flare are different, no such thing as a 5/8npt inverted flare. The carb adapter would be 1/4 npt to 5/8 inverted flare Need a motor serial number to verify, but being a sbc it is probably all steel lines will be 5/8 inverted flare. Filter to pump, and pump to carb

    Its not stopping because the hydraulic fluid is low and it has air in the system. After bleeding it will work as before

    Don't know of anyone who has tried to change. Don't think its possible because of dimensions. Could buy one U joint and see if it would work Can also buy Sierra equivalent
