    Howdy Merc still makes the harness for the non-digital 3.0L. Rewiring the motor to original to digital (DDIS) can work so long as the components are still usable. Note that these years used the BIA wiring colors, later the colors were changed. Hope this helps

    That's a tough one without having a look at how its built. I lifted my 1973 Chrysler top using the two rear and one front cleat. The catfish does look a bit heavier but not sure. If you can repair gelcoat, drill a hole thru and install eyebolts into a 2x4 under the gunnels
