    what size discharge do you have now? 3/4"? 1-1/8"? 1-1/2"? stock pumps are usually 500 gph. some are 800 gph 1-1/8" thru-hulls will flow up to about 1200-1500 gph. to go bigger, go with a bigger thru-hull. however keep in mind, a bilge pump wont help with a hull breach.

    I do not recommend cheap anything. However a good gel is about $18 a quart Remember, your boat was designed to last about 15 years and be replaced. The 3mm of glass is all that was needed to meet the design life expectancy

    You have a mid 80s bayliner. There isnt a chance at all your transom and stringers are OK. They rotted about a decade before the floor started getting soft

    No, you can fix from the inside. Grind away the gel, down to fiberglass. Apply a layer of CSM, and a layer of 1708 Apply 2-3 coats of gel. The last coat with wax in the gel 40 grit DA discs work well to remove the gel
