    1986 Starcraft FM 160 Restoration

Okay guys I am soon to post some pics of this process, as I have already started the teardown. My question to start is I am wondering where to put my fuel tank. Seems like in this boat they keep the tank at the stern, under a cloth. But, the P.O. has run a fuel line from a 10 gallon tank under...

    My first Hull Restoration.

Ok guys, last year I traded my nice little jon boat for a P.O.S. Don't know what possessed me to do it, but I guess I wanted a project. Dude gave me a bow, tilt and trim, fishfinder, trolling motors, all types of stuff because he wanted the boat gone. I KNEW I was going to have issues with it...

    Merc 650 distributor/trigger question.

Okay fellers I have a couple of questions for you guys. Upon replacing the trigger assembly I had a few things come up. Can I remedy this stator assembly?

Just wondering, resistance-wise she tests out good, but looks fried on two poles. Can I just recoat the two poles to prevent a short to block? All the wires are intact, I just dont see spending $200 if everything is working fine. Only reason I saw it was a routine timing belt job.
