    I have a 76 500 and got tach to work again (bad rectifier) . it is off by 500 rpm or so, seems to be reading too high. the tach is a aqua meter tach that reads to 6000 rpm, i believe from 76 also. i believe i have at least 6 wires on back of tach. is there a newer tach i can use with this type...
