    Hello, I have a 1991 120 hp force outboard, im looking at a lower unit from a 1988 125 hp force. Everything looks the same except that where the water gets sucked in for cooling is in a different area. Will this still work for my motor?

    40 HP 1980ish NO SPARK Both Cylinders

    I have a 40 hp johnson. It's around a 1980 or so. I'm getting no spark in both cylinders. I'm guessing its not the coils since I'm not getting spark from either, but im not positive. Any suggestions? Also, is there a way to test the coils with an ohm meter? Thanks, Nick

    Winterizing

    Hey, I have a 23' Chris Craft with a v8 OMC, Tonight the temp is supposed to drop into the 20's. I'm not ready to winterize it for the winter yet, as I plan on using it a couple more times. Is these anything I should do tonight to avoid any damage from the cold? Thanks, Nick

    140 4 cylinder Backfire at high speed

    I have a 1984? sea ray with a 4 cylinder 140 in it. Was out today, and over the course of an hour or so, it backfired pretty loud 3 times while going about 25-30 mph. This has never happened to me since ive owned it (1.5 years). Any ideas whats causing this?
