    Record Striper Caught

    A guy just caught a state record striper in virginia two days ago. It was 4.5 lbs from the world record. It weighed 73lbs and the gerth was 31'' length was 52" WOW!!! He was trolling with a lure at 5 knots 5olb test line with a pen 30. Yeehaa!!!:eek:

    heat exchanger

    Can you have a heatexchanger (old style) with no cover or fill? Do you ad an expansion bottle to it? Would it be piped into one line or? L6 165 merc. I have a 4"x20"+ heat ex. I'd like to put it to use but it has only two larger in/out-fw and two smaller in/outs-rw. How would i plumb this?

    Go Figure Stripped anode bolt

    Well i went to split my pre alpha MC1 drive and the allen bolt that holds the anode fin in stripped. I cleaned it out good and the allen wrench felt like a good tight fit. Without to to much pressure it stripped out. If i had to guess It looks like a steel bolt some knuckle head put in there...

    I put my outdrive (pre alpha) I'm going to do it anyway(change oil) but i cracked the bottom fill screw/plug and nice new looking oil came out with slight streaks of moisture. I assume it's been sitting for about 2years anyway.Could this be from condensation build up over time? I'll pressure...

    250ci to 292ci L6s est. 35hp increase. The boat was running a 19p prop so if i install the 292 and it over revs should i go to a 21P? The two 19p props that came with the boat have #s4873146A40. How do i determine the Dia. by the #s and whats the largest Dia. prop you can use on a prealpha drive?
