Wide open the boat runs fine fyi. Here where I live also the lakes are not that big(northern indiana) so would mainly use trolling motor. well exactly......! I simply misread that the big engine was also used as the trolling motor. Ho well.... good that the electric does the job....in my...

    Rings for 4006E

and all that black goo in a barrel is normal !! 2 strokes spit out a good % their fuel oil mix down the exhaust and washes out carbon deposits along with it....which is why they are forbidden on some lakes. Modern direct injection engines do not mix oil gas and run much cleaner. the...

7mm spark plug wire crimp or spring type connector??

you can reuse the old boot and pin prick/spring. the technique has worked for 75 years + they sell new ones also or use fully booted car wires using 7mm solid strand wire (no carbon) if you plan fixing more than 1 motor it may be cost effective at U$ pricing .... but just new boots is cheap...

    1981 Johnson 115 voltage regulator

in theory if you expect a charging voltage around 14v the yellows should generate equal of slightly above 14 volts . the two "alternating" ac swings (+/-) will be redirected into your single + ouput voltage from the rectifiers diodes . set your meter to 50-100v AC and probe...

2000 Evinrude FICHT Tilt and Trim will not work

btw what was wrong with your PDP ?? the bottom D input feed of 12v has a history of cracked or cold solder joint easy to reweld if you are handy at this. since your T&T relays get their +12 source directly off the PDP it is possible your PDP is still defective. It may let enough...

2000 Evinrude FICHT Tilt and Trim will not work

2000 Evinrude FICHT Tilt and Trim will not work

13.2 volts is the voltage you read at the open end of your 2 wires and that is because it is the HIGHEST point of resistance in the wiring... open air what is missing are amps....stuck somewhere along the wiring is some resistive connection that will allow you to measure that voltage but no...

    1999 ficht 115 problems

another possibility ....:-( it may be a injector stuck open & pushing fuel back into one cyl. do you have EV diagnostics to look for fault codes ? the EMM codes would look fo shorts or open on the injedtor pulse wire but a mechanically stuck injector may very well produce no...
