Yeah , what is it with some women and guns , my sis in law has palpations at the mention of guns :LOL: and I dont play on that at all:rolleyes::D or leave one lying around where I know she's going to see it .....nah , not me , specially not where she's got to walk past it to get out of the...
Well I had to google that because I have never seen it , but I can tell you that no Kiwi pronounces "deck " like that ........or "caulk".
Im pretty sure its a pisstake , there have been a few stupid adds for real deck treatments on TV lately .:):)
I dont think anything would be damaged but if the batteries are "push it under the door " flat then removing them and using a smart charger in recovery mode is probly the best option

I like the old British .303
No4mk1 , No1 mk3 ,No5 ( jungle carbine ) . and a Churchill sporter
That might get the piston moving in the bore but you cant undo the damage . You should now consider your engine wounded , and hope the big end is ok

yeah , the stator is under the flywheel so you would have to remove that ... and that can be a mission , even getting the nut undone aint easy . You really need a proper puller suitable for the job , and some proper way of holding the flywheel so you can undo the nut .
If you dont have a...
you should be getting 50+vac out of the stator at high revs and a bit below 20vac at idle .... Id say your stator is puckerood . This event , fried reg/rect , is often accompanied with a burnt out stator . Usually the reg shorts out and that causes high current flow in the stator and burns...
no he didnt , he said he had the meter set to dc whilst testing an ac output , easy mistake , and with a faulty stator who know what the meter could say .......might have been mv , another easy mistake on an auto ranging meter :)
Yellow wires from the alt are before the reg/rect , but if one had the meter set to dc while testing an ac output the meter would show a reading and depending on the dampening function on a particular meter you may see a reasonably stable reading ....however wrong it was .
My Fluke 179 had a...
