On hose

Seems to run fine just surprised to see fuel exiting the hose when it's not connected

93 evinrude 25 hp tiller manual primer. When taking small primer hose off of the nipple on the top of the carb I am getting pulses and mist from the end of that small primer hose when engine is running. I confirmed the primer knob is pushed all the way in. Seems like this hose will always see...

Ok. I loosened the half inch bolt on the underside and moved the sheave counter clockwise until the arrow was pointed at the words arrow here. Then retightened the bolt. Seems better now

How about giving me the procedure to time it if you don't mind

Ok I fixed the recoil installed 2 new pawls and 3 missing wires that connect the pawls. When I pull the rope handle the rope pulls out around 5 inches or more before making engagement with flywheel. Is there a way to shorten the distance the rope has to be pulled before it engages the flywheel?

Yeah looks like I need 3 wires and 2 new pawls and e clip for the missing pawl

There is a spot for a second one but the clip and wire are not there. Did some use only one??

Early to mid 90s evinrude 25 hp 2 cylinder. Need the blue plastic pawl on the underside of the recoil starter. Anyone know if thar part is available separately? Part number? This is the plastic piece that flips out to engage the flywheel. Thanks

I used taller washers ang got the spacing correct. I'll order the screw and washer set I see on ebay or can I just use it the way I have it with some washers stacked to make the right height?
