Re: 1960's Falcon Rebuild (New Title)
Ok guys... here's the deal:
Boating for us has always been a family thing... so while the Admiral and I like the wooden boat cruiser style, the kids are the exact opposite. So, after a family discussion, we agreed to the following where everyone has their say and is happy with the outcome --- the Admiral more or less!
- Open bow
- Console with a bench extending from the side of the console for the kids
- Console to be roughly in the middle of the boat
- bench with 2 seats on sliders behind the console extending across the boat
- either open to the splash well behind console seats or a deck 4-6" below the top of the gunwales
- large pad in the open bow with grab handles
- padded seat in front of the drivers console
- 9 gal gas tank to go below the console seat bench
- wood covering the gunwales and on the inside sides of the boat
- nautalex equiv flooring and on the seat area at the front.
- close design style --- check out a B. Whaler Super Sport 130 or 150... I know their of the itchy type... but gives a good visual of the direction this thing is gonna take!
So there you have it... a totally new design. I like it!

I know it's got wood that will eventually rot... but, it was an Admiral must and since there is a lot of compromising on her part, it stays!
Should be a lot lighter of a design as well --- a good thing for towing with the Camry.
Friday, work commences...
Have a great evening fellas...
