Re: 1979 16' Starcraft SS - I did it again!
*Chuck approaches the turtled almighty 26' hull around which sits the oldest members of the elusive Starmada*
"Forgive me Starmada for I have sinned today." passively Chuck states.
"OH FOR CHRIST SAKES CHUCK! What have you done now!?" hollers the grand pubmada EZMobee.
" I drilled 12 holes IN to my boat tonight for my pure end pleasure..." again, passively Chuck states.
"Well.........does it still FLOAT? hmmmmmm???" rips the longest and bottomest rebuild Jasoutside.
"It sh...sh...should. I had to do it, the Bimini top NEEDED to be mounted!..., forgive me, forgive...me..." Chuck.
"Well, we shall hope it does but for now bring us 3 quarts of gluvit, 2 cans of Rust-o-leum, and the latest printed copy of "Starcraft on C-List" and we shall not beat you with a foam noodle just yet." HA declares!
Mounted the Bimini top tonight. Just got in from doing it, its 1:00am, so pictures will have to wait until tomorrow but I promise to make it up with pictures of it "on the water!" I dont know what it is but drilling holes in a boat hull, even if it was the topside side panels just doesnt seem right. Maybe its the drilling in aluminum, I dont know but I shudder everytime I do it!
Now to have a good afternoon on the water and then its time to mount up the new trolling motor I received for my birthday! This years trip to Lake Winnebigoshish in MN is going to be a fishing dream! NO more firing up the big 85HP just to move 30 feet!
