Re: 1986 ss 201
It would look great next to my Mariner. I keep see commercials on tv where :flypig: .... so it must be true. I'll PM my address.
I think my mail box is full 64,
Nice Job again there man! Rock n' and Rollin'!!! It really is great to see it coming together... this to me is the most enjoyable part --- all of the "foundation" work is more or less done and it is the finishing touches that turn it from old and tired to new and fresh!
Jim
Thanks Jim, I agree, seems like once you get the flooring down and start getting consuls and front decks in it gets real exiting..
No pictures cus they would be the same as yesterdays, but the bow deck is installed and riveted down, I also got the upper gunwal aluminum sides re-installed. The boat has now got covered up for a while the next thing to be done on it is sand , prep and paint the topside. I am planning on painting the trailer the same color, so I want to get it prepped and ready to paint at the same time.
This has turned into a little bigger project than origionally planned, If you remember from the first photos the SS came on a Spartan single axle trailer, I am not a fan of single axle trailers under big boats especially towed in a combination behind my fifth wheel.
It just so happens that the Dodge Motorhome project involved a brand new Dutchman tantem axle trailer, well part of the deal is those nice new axles with real nice five spoke aluminum wheels belong to me and are going to fit real nice under my Spartan trailer.
Photos to come.
