I found this a few years ago while fishing. It appears to be fossilised.

I think it resembles the wrist end of a human radius bone.

Been raining since 5 am this morning. I have had to go out and make adjustments on the rain cover. Staying dry for the most part. Little areas of seepage on the transom. Weatherman says four more hours or so of rain.

I was thinking I might go out and get the transom cut down. Cannot decide if I want to try and cut the angle (to aid in glassing) with a jigsaw or sand it down with a belt sander. Maybe use both, saw to get it close and sander to finish it. Any advice if I should not do this until I am ready to glass it in? What about the keyhole.....should this be put in after it is in place?
Before I make a run to store, have a question on PL.

Thank you bear. I thought I had picked that up a week ago. I get the bag out to look at it today. What I have is liquid nails construction adhesive. Glad I asked, and you were able to answer.

Keyhole too important to cut before, except very rough much smaller hole in just the center of the intended location.

I was leaning that way myself. I need to go out and see if the existing hole is even in the center. From the inside it looks off. If it is off center, I will be filling in the existing hole and making a new one.
