Re: calling all lake mead boaters! nevada
I'm headed out Friday. My daughter's last day as a sophomore was today and my son's last day in elementary is tomorrow. Summer has begun
Those picture forecasts are off FB. Just 'like' the US National Weather Service at this link and you'll get the updates automatically: CLICKY
The next one is Windfinder. someone else posted it on here and I grabbed it. It's a great source. It seems pretty accurate as forecasting goes.. CLICKY
If you get a wild hair and head down into Temple Basin, we'll be on the right side just south of Mushroom Reef - about 4 miles before you get to T-Bar. The drop in elevation has left us a nice 100 yard slice of some awesome sand to stick your toes in. Just run back and forth, up and down the beach yelling 12v! 12v! haha
Anyone heading out this weekend? Against my better judgement (hope it's half way sane out there...) we are going out for a day or 2. Not sure if we are going to make the trek over to Tbar, or just launch out of Echo as we usually do,,, 25 miles further to Tbar and have to go through BC....
12V, what site do you get those forecasts from? I like their layout and detail.
