Thanks guys !
It's amazing what you can find on the internet . Just looking for info on the RAS . This looks like the same model I have .
Radial Arm Saw: Worth Owning? - YouTube
I have had the old saw for years and never set it up . I picked it up while doing a side job for someone . Knocked off 50 bucks of what he owed me for it so I guess it was a good deal .. I need to set up a good fence for it somehow .

You should read this...How to Replace Your Radial Arm Saw Table - Woodworking Materials

I like to make my table by using 3/4" MDF and contact cementing 1/8" Tempered Hardboard to both sides of it. The Table is 3 Parts. Front Part is 18 1/2 inches deep and 40 inches wide. Middle part is 2 1/2" x 40" and Back is 6" x 40" Front and Back are both attached. Middle is removable and allows a forward and rear fence position. I make my Fence out of 3/4" MDF and make it 2" x 40". It's important to ensure the table is level so install t-nuts in the table to allow you to use bolts in the base to raise and lower the table. It's also imperative to get the fence square to the blade travel using a builder square all along the entire travel length of the arm. You can loosen bolts on the arm to adjust it as well to get it all squared up. Feel free to call me if you want to discuss the intricate details. Or NOT!!!! :D

I can do that. A Model # would Greatly help. I might even be able to Google up some original manuals etc... See what you can provide.

If you get the model number you can go to Sears web site and find alot of info for the saw..
I'll see if I can find my manual on mine.. May be a different model but they all setup about the same..

What's throwing me a bit is the Bed Adjusting clamps on his table appear to be on the sides. Mine are on the back. His table may mount differently. I KNOW his a Lot older than mine. Prolly a 50's or 60's model. Mine is a 70's model. There are some differences in how to mount the table and fence.

Ok , I got model # 113.29401 Craftsman Radial 100 .. There was something I saw about a recall on models that start with 113 . I'll need to do more research . The support post has some surface rust on it . Any clue how much range up and down in inches it should have ?

That 'ol Radial arm brings back fond memories of the workshop in the basement, next to the boiler room, across from our apartment, where my Dad was superintendent at the last brownstone we lived in N.Y., just before moving to Fla.
Can't wait to see it all spiffed up and making some sawdust...:)
Oh and your man cave is shaping up real nice, I hope to be able to come by one day and crack open a couple of frosties and spin some yarns...

The man cave door is always open to all my iboat brethren ! I still want to plan a trip to the keys . Gotta work out my tow rig first . Hopefully that will happen in the near future .. Kinda torn on what to get . The Admiral want's an Explorer but I would rather have something with a V8 . A conversion van would be nice so we could camp in it . I have even considered a 3/4 ton pick up with a slide in bed camper . I know for sure when we head that way we would like to drop in and shoot the breeze with ya for a bit !

That is the same model as mine SP.. Found my manual tonight.. Looks like I'm late to the gate on that one..:D

Once you get her all setup, it will make for a fine tool in the shed..
