You really need to keep us up to date, with pictures, as you work on this project. What a unique boat!

You guys are awesome!

I have a friend that is a boat builder. He knows his business very well and I am lucky to have him as a friend. He came up to orchestrate the floating of her. With his instruction we took a lot of measurements and did a lot of weight shifting to see how she floated. But when he put that long rope on the bow and shoved me off the dock I got a bit choked up. It felt free and like my dream was starting to become a reality and at the same time I knew that I had her home and all the stress (atleast at that moment..haha) of moving her was over. Its really hard to describe how it felt but it was awesome

And whats up with the spammer? Them guys really are everywhere. I like to say I build websites for a living but really I should say that I "Used to build websites for a living". Its more of a hobby now I guess. That guy had me fooled! I noticed it was his first post and at first thought maybe it was a spammer, but then I thought maybe it was just someone being dense. Not me, I am never dense :D

You know when I first read about having a boat transporter move it. Honestly my first thought was "Yeah right, maybe in California or New York". Live and learn right? I am so glad ya'll were here to help and give me your honest opinions!

@ezmobee, that pictures rocks and I am still laughing outloud from reading it yesterday. I will admit that I have not shown my wife that picture yet ;)

So you are all welcome to come visit and see the boat anytime ya want, just give me a little notice so I can clean the house.

I know this is a bit off topic but the wife and I are working on buying this house. It has a smaller shop that will be perfect for working on my center console and this pole barn that I am hoping to partially finish to work on the big boat. This is the pole barn http://www.flickr.com/photos/35799523@N07/5148530409/ and this is the rest of the house http://www.flickr.com/photos/35799523@N07/page2/ We are just starting the process so keep your fingers crossed for us. Ok, I will not get anymore off topic

MTboatguy, You like Walleye fishin? Come spring if I can get my center console put back together I will take ya out for some first class Walleye fishin. Thats if I get the boat back together by then ;)

I am glad you posted that, the one I was looking at for my truck is the p3 prodigy. But I was looking on a retailers site, never even thought about going to the manufacturers website.. duh!

This one http://www.tekonsha.com/video/runvideo.asp?video1=p3-intro.flv Pretty cool to see a video of it in action.

etrailer shows it as plugging right in to my truck. Now that I am not in a hurry I dont mind wiring it, will give me something else to do this winter

Brandon-

Glad you got her moved to you, and I like her lines much better in the water.

For a brake controller, have a look at the Tekonsha brand.

Glad you liked it. We have that book and I read it to my 3 year old occasionally. Apparently it was written in 1946 and you can still buy it today. http://www.amazon.com/Scuffy-Tugboa...0460/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289393114&sr=8-1 It was what I thought of immediately when I saw your boat :)

Cool property. I could only dream of owning something like that with that much space. I'm paying $30 a month just to park my boat outside next to a guy's barn!
