Re: NFL Week 17

I agree with your first statement 100%.

Your second statement is a little shaky. The Steelers could not defeat the Ravens twice in the regular season, I have no delusions that they could do it in the playoffs, in Baltimore, with all the injuries they have.

I do hold out hope that the Ravens will take a week off, for the 5th time this year, because that's the only way to explain their 4 losses to mediocre teams.

Hey Tilliam, shhh!!! I agree with your last two points, but don't want to give skargo too much joy just yet! ;)

Not worried about Mendenhall out ... he is our third best back, he just starts. Clark won't be able to play in Denver ... altitude sickness.

And of course you want to see Tebow work his magic on the Steelers ... cause you don't want to face us a 3rd time this year. Fear the beard!
Oh I DO want the Steelers to come to the Bank and get whooped again LOLOL. Bring those tired old used up bums here!

Re: NFL Week 17

It is so funny how some people see things. Cleveland "screwed" Modell? Maybe after he "screwed" them for years. But the fact is true, all he needed to do was get out of Cleveland to win a Super Bowl. And that does bother many Browns fans, whose team hasn't even been to the playoffs since 2002!

He screwed them for years??? That's certainly rich :D I think anyone who holds a grudge over a kids game all these years later has major issues with their life, including the old Baltimore Colts fans around here. Get over it, move on, it's a game.

The kids on the Ravens and Colts today have no clue really about those moves!

Anyway, good luck to everyone who's pulling for their favorite teams.
NFC has the killer offenses, and the AFC has the killer defenses, something's gotta give.

All I was referring to was the way he continued to lie about leaving, and deny the truth in a press conference, even after he had inked a deal to move.
Really showed his true character. Thats all I need to know about the man.

As you said, good luck to all and their favorite teams.

Ravens / Saints Superbowl ?

Maybe, it would be some SB, great defense vs great offense. I don't see the Ravens, or any AFC team winning the SB against the Pack or the Saints...

Yep, the NFC is looking pretty tough this year. But, anything can happen. Turnovers can change a game in a hurry.....

Pack/Saints v Pats ... high scoring affair, no great defense, last team to score wins

Pack/Saints v Ravens ... low scoring affair, Ravens may have enough offense and defense causes enough turnovers to win

Pack/Sanits v Steelers ... Steelers make it a low scoring affair, but not enough offense to win

Guess that is why they play the game ... playing on paper doesn't equate to game time bounces ...

"Bum" is defined in dictionary.com as this:

1. a person who avoids work and sponges on others; loafer; idler.

2. a tramp, hobo, or derelict.

3. Informal . an enthusiast of a specific sport or recreational activity, especially one who gives it priority over work, family life, etc.: a ski bum; a tennis bum.

4. Informal . an incompetent person.

NONE of those definitions fit the Steelers players.

I agree with most of that, especially the why they play the game part. There are always surprises!

Maybe the Falcons will battle the Broncos! ;)

Okay this has become a very high maintenance matter..........

These antics will stop.

Go to the FAQ and look up how to use the IGNORE feature and please start ignoring the people that do not get along with your views. Failure to utilize this free function and continued complaints will result in moderator actions.

The moderator team is tired of the WEEKLY and almost DAILY complaints received.

I am not speaking of one, two or three people but, I am addressing this to those involved.
