Listen, I know it's a hot topic, but I come out and have 3 mikes hard lemonades - then wait a few hours (which will typically include water, swimming and hiking, which I just got back from).

I actually bumped into a few people out here that I know so it's fine.

- I've never charged people gas money EVER, not once.

I did mention to her that when I go out I spend at least 5 hours out at the least!

Mikes has the same alcohol content as Budweiser.

You're having three in the same hour you're at about .04

Are you really cutting off at 3 off them in 5 hours?

Quite a harem by the way.

absolutely - I drink as soon as I hit the beach first thing, eating lunch with the second and I'll have one more right after. I don't think u can really drink more then three anyway, way too much sugar and I don't like beer.

people teaming up on me have no idea what they are talking about. DUI is a pretty big deal up here and I'd never risk my passengers, license or boat.

Let me throw a wrench in this.. alcohol here is 3.5% not 5 or more.. so I can drink 5 or 6 before I am at the legal limit..

Utah is great. when they set it up they had to have one legal vice so multiple underage women was fine.. but alcohol is a no no..

you can't buy alcohol before 12:00 noon. if at a restaurant you HAVE to order food with your drink. If you want HARD liquor you have to go to a state run liquor store. and the same if you want a hard lemonade, Zima sminoff ice. etc. because the kids here like them .

JeffSki enjoy your freedom, forget what others say. If I drank, I would say lets hit the water and have one or two.. :D

Not according to multiple websites.
Mikes hard regular is 5 to 5.2% alcohol
And yes you will be over the legal BAC at 5 drinks.
See here - http://www.ou.edu/oupd/bac.htm

Use beer; 12 oz. and 160lbs as your baseline.

If you really didn't care, you wouldn't have wasted the time to type out a response.

Lets see.

I don't know you.

I don't know your friend.

Yep. That settles it:

I DON"T CARE ABOUT ANY OF THE STUFF IN THE ORIGINAL POST!!!!!

What I do care about is that this has nothing to do with the forum which is "Boat Topics and Questions (Not Engine Topics)". My point is that this subject is really about personal relationships and Dear Abby would be better suited to answer your question than a forum that is supposed to be about boat questions. "Dockside Chat" would have been a better choice IMO.

As for the drinking. I have no problem with someone that drinks and drives as long as he/she is not impaired. However, the person that is drinking, whether it is one drink or 10, is the worst person to judge whether he/she is impaired because drinking impairment starts off by making you think you are not impaired. This is the "sense of euphoria" and "reduced inhibitions" stage. Studies have shown that you are impaired from the first drink whether or not your blood alcohol level is above the "legal" limit or not. For this reason, if I am driving, boating, whatever, I don't drink even one.

In regard to this:
there will always be people (especially on the internet) who love to tell others how to live their lives. I look at it like this:

In 30 years:

- I've never had a run in with the law. Not ONCE.

- Never been in an accident, car, boat, jetski.

- Never smoked a cig

- Until I was 21 I didn't even know what any kind of alch tasted like because I had never had any.

Half of these people who are bashing me probably didn't achieve many of those so their arguments are worthless to me.

Congratulations. I really do commend you on this because it is an accomplishment. However if you think this alone somehow makes you "better" than someone who might have had an accident, or got a ticket or..., Then you truly are as self absorbed as your posts make you seem.

I wasted some time and read all of your posts in this thread and it is evident to me that you didn't want differing opinions, only opinions that agreed with yours. Why bother posting then?

I'm done. Won't ever open this worthless thread again.

Very responsible girls, drinking their apple juice bottles on the beach. I guess that song that goes "tequila makes her clothes fall off" should be change to "Motts applejuice makes her clothes fall off". :D
