Ahah! I found me a diving buddy. I recently helped him find a 30' Boston Whaler. A perfect dive boat for us. We are planning on going after some lobster the next few months. You can count on me bringing some fresh fish......let's just hope some lobster come with them.

Off to a bad start......Seas 6 to 8 the next several days, maybe a week. You know what that means, all work and no play!

Carol and Skip are still here. They are having so much fun, they may just stay the summer!

And you know what that menas...if the seas are rough this week, they'll be glass next week but there won't be any fish biting till the following.

I know that tecnically, this is a hijack, but having you and your family over at our hotel last night was such a pleasure, my family and I can't even begin to describe. So good to see you guys!!! We really hope to get together with you again before we head back home. It should happen.

Wow, we ahve been so busy here I didn't even make it too the Tiki Hut at 4 for four days in a row. My home transcription is keeping me busy enough so I ordered shades to go around the winshield and salon. We keep Mike busy with electrical issues. he checks it out, we order parts, he puts it together. We should be picking up the rails and paint this week. then the new anchor, swapping chains around and we should be home free until the Chatrtploter and depth finder get here. We have met two parties who are headed south soon so we may hook up to at least get to the Keys before summer. Still unsure about the Bahamas this first year. We may just go arund the tip of Florida to the gulf. Don't know. Don't care. We are still planning to get to Fireman's by hook or by crook. We stood on the dock in front of the Tiki Hat last night with our beers on the post tops (leveled for just that purpose I am sure) and caught three mangrove grouper for supper. Grilled with lemon pepper, oooo,oooo! Nice.
PS We even got in truoble tied up at dock when those waves came in!! our line chaffed and broke from the cement piling. We were rocking and rolling so I couldn't even stay in bed!! what a night!
Oh, well. captian Mike and first mate Kimi are taking real good care of us. so glad we met and follow the blog for articles about the island. we are having a ball.

Well, just got back from a 6 day cruise to Mexico. For someone that loves to be on a boat so much, I don't think I'll be on a cruise again for a long time. Not for me. Felt like I was trapped in a mall!! Did meet some really cool people there, though. Met 3 families that are from our small town and live only blocks from us! How crazy is that? That you would bump into someone that you don't know in a group of 2000 people, start a conversation, and find out they live around the corner! Also met a cool couple from West Palm that we hung out with for the last 3 days. They are going to try to make it up for the party as well. They would fit right in...

Sasto...sorry my friend, no hot tub . But I'll be happy to get up and get you your beer and shots. Next best thing to medication! This way, you can rest comfortably in the chair or pool float and immerse yourself in the cool, pain reducing beverage of your choice!

As far as Sastos back is concerned, he must remember to alternate heat with cold. Since you've got the cold covered, maybe I should bring a heating pad and he can lounge under the tiki til the medication kicks in

Heat / cold is a great idea, but I'm thinking hot wings and cold beer!
