Sorry I didn't get to the glass question sooner, Been busy the last couple days. I have used 18 oz roving to tab in my stringers and transom and than another layer over the tab and running it to the top of the stringers. I'm going to run a lighter cloth like 10 oz to cap the stringers before I close it up. Looks like ondarvr has you squared away though.1708 is the best way to go. I got a pretty good deal on the glass I have but when I get to the exterior of the transom and the top of the deck I'm going with 1708. Great pics of the old slickcraft in the garage!
