    don't make it more complicated.... Remove the FW and just set points at .020 on the hight point of the cam lobe or get the pointy tool ..works great just... openning at the mark is more critical than the gap itself

    I have never seen a 9.5hp with that filter ... but the MQ10 1964 shows one. they must have kept the mold same for part 15 19 & 20 idle limiter molding btw for easy scren grabs use windows key - caps and S buttons

    suggest you consult with the folks on the ETEC user board in the i2 section https://www.etecownersgroup.com/etec-i2-136482 the fuse feeds theT&T switches and the front key.. the key loops B+ back to the EMM on purple via J1B pin #10 ( middle EMM plug) ... saddly.... blowing fusues are...

    on older engines the crankcase residual fuel-oil mix is simply purged out in the water or recirculated to the top of the engine by a side recirculation hose. They even have recirculation concept on modern E-TEC engines ! if you can't solve your problem and you are loosing sleep on it...

    heat causes things to fail.... like condensers, coils do what needs to be done ! and don't run high speed in a bucket.... carb 100% clean check coils for cracks, wires etc...change condensers a vom test is not enough they must be tested at 250v+ check fuel pump... if hand...

    btw .. the word TOP does not mean TDC it means the cam top side must be on TOP.... the hight point of the cam lobe is not TOP...!! tdc high point of the cam is where you set .020 gap but the video does it better

    I use a 1/4 inch impact driver on the big bolt . the weight and inertia of the FW allows the extractor to pull up the fw without the FW rotating

    the slot seems widenned but if you push it down manually it should fit and line up properly ... if the slot had been damaged that is something else ! be careful not damage the rub blocks as you fit he camlobe back down .!

    i think the cam lobe is spring loaded removing the FW allows it to come up a bit ... not a problem coil looks ok make certain the oiler wick is in and oiled 1-2 drops

    stick a screw driver (small) into the top cyl. feel & position the top piston as it reaches TDC. check your timing marks they should line up

    these harmonic pullers work pretty good.. the inverted nylon lock nuts are used as limiters so as not to screw the bolts in to far in the FW and scrape the coils. They also keep the bolts from getting lost :-) btw that side push cam...controlled by the side knob....don't force the...
