    Winterizing a 2004 3.0 glm-b

Just pull all engine and manifold plugs, and water pump in line and let the water drain out. I`m assuming this is only temporary, not for an extended period of time?

Prop shaft vs crankshaft alignment on DPS-A

If your trim rams are showing two inches of ram showing then something is definitely wrong, mine retract to the hilt. You have something out of place within your rams preventing it from complete retraction. You may need to disable them to see what the problem is. It may be a limiting spacer...

    Hydrolocked - now what??

I think you need to find a new mechanic. You probably have a bad manifold, riser or gasket. it is very unlikely that water came in from the carb. You might try doing a compression check to see how badly damaged that cylinder is before planning on replacing the engine.

5.7 Spark plug wire help please

Small block wires should basically all be the same length. Most boat wires have a 90degree boot. So as long as your distributor ends are compatible with your cap, it should be a fairly easy process. Only remove one old wire at a time and use it to match up in length from the new wires and replace.

VIDEO Help: Post Texas Freeze Leak

Look at Michiganmotorz. I purchased a new GXI block from them and doing the work myself only had about 4K in costs. It takes a little time and effort but fairly easy to do, the hardest part was getting the old block out and the new one in.

    impeller

VP parts are fairly easy to find, I`ve had no difficulty. You need to check out this website, Volvo Penta Parts & Accessories from Power Product Systems, locate your engine and it will give parts schematics. Once you have the part number, you can Google that and find multiple vendors, even ebay...

    Reusing same bellows again

Age wise the bellows should still be good but depending on how easy they come off, you may tear or damage the sealing surfaces and may end up needing to purchase another. As a good bellows seal is imperative to drive life, if in doubt, I would replace.

    Another Overheating Issue @ Idle

I`d run it at idle from the blue port and see if it still overheats. If not, then you know your problem is between the drive pick up and the pump, possibly a clog. If it still overheats, then you know your problem is in the front of the engine

    Another Overheating Issue @ Idle

I`d pull the impeller and check it for damage. Does the engine behave the same way just running it from the blue flush port as opposed to running on muffs or in the water? Make sure the blue cap is put on tightly.

    Bellows sealant, DPS-A?

I will be replacing my drive bellows here in a few weeks on my DPS-A. What if any sealer should I apply between the bellows and the aluminum housing rim?

4.3 GL Engine Mount Bolt replacement

The front mounts are the only adjustable mounts so there is no reason to remove the rear unless they are broken and not functioning. Just lift the front of the engine enough to replace the front bolts/mounts.
