    ok so I noticed that my reservoir was low on oil so I decided to do a pressure test.. I unhooked the reservoir and installed a gauge and tire valve there... I put 10 psi in the lower and it held over night so I left it for a few days and it dropped 5psi I figured that could be from temp change...

    I have an SEI on my boat ...It was in there when I bought the boat 6 years ago .... I have no complaints and that would be my choice if i needed a new 1 they have a 3 year no fault warranty if I'm not mistaken... that means next time you run it aground within the warranty it's covered....

    For starters that’s a V6 not a V8 the out drive would need to be changed as well as the exhaust y. You would also need to add mount pads in the boat

    You wont have impeller damage if you have water at the impeller..... remove the small hose coming from the transom that is the water from the impeller point it down in the bilge start turn muffs on and start the boat and make sure you have plenty of flow from the impeller...

    Did you check the fuse on the motor ? its normally above the starter solenoid that sends power back to the switch
