    Those links is what I use to find part numbers. It sounds like your looking for a exploded view kind of manual. Don't know if there is one. The service manual should show a lot of locational info, but it to may not show everything.

    Won't hurt a thing short term. Your probably not going to reach WOT RPM as you did before, so a bit of lugging but probably not enough to worry with now

    If you went to a 4B-17 that might do it, or going to a 3B-17 will jump out good. I use to use a 3B-19 when pulling skiiers and tubes and go back to 3B-21 when just cruising. Could over Rev with the 19, but it would sure get the boat up fast

    Not necessarily. Everything has trade offs. 4B-19 is like a 3B-21, so using a 4B your going to loose RPM at WOT. The 4B bites better and therefore has less slip, but depending on the boat (heavier) a 3B will get you up quicker because RPM's will come up faster and put the motor higher in its...

    While I do think Merc parts are way over priced, they are quality SEI has been making parts for Merc for some time and have a better warranty then Merc. Many have bought drives and had good luck. Have not ever tried or looked at their bellows kit, but might be worth a shot at $90...

    Overheating can cause the head to warp and blow the head gasket. Do a compression test to see if that happened So far as the noise, pull the drive and check the gimbal bearing. Place your fingers in the bearing and rotate, it should feel as smooth as silk

    Ebay and Amazon is a crap shoot, can get real OEM parts and other not so much. I've bought from those guys and got good parts, but also have gotten aftermarket. The good thing is if you can prove their aftermarket you can be refunded.

    Felpro head gasket will seal the head, make sure its flat within .003, clean and dry Use spray on exhaust if you wish, it won't hurt but not needed if using marine gaskets. The exhaust does not get hot like autos do

    Hot wire the fuel pump for 10 seconds or so If motor starts and runs without issue then its a fuel pump problem. If this doesn't get it running then its ignition or the pump is not pumping fuel

    Leaking water in does indicate the transom is compromised, otherwise there would be no water AS for the ratio it does mater
