    No spark 2,4,6 here is what fixed it. Merc 175hp outboard

    Well the shop tested all and come up with the switch box was bad. Still havent heard the motor run, hoping after the 300 dollar fix it starts up and runs well. It is OEM so he told me to get only one of them. Some of you told me to replace them both. When I asked him he said to only get one...

    20' Starcraft 175hp Merc steering ?

    Ok We don't have steering on it yet and we can't put hydraulic steering on this boat. What is the next best steering helm and cable to use? I have looked this up all over the net and it is all over the place. Can someone help us ?

    Fiberglass resin on the floor.

    There is plywood on it now we have the resin. Any Ideas on how to spread it over the floor to seal the wood all off I'm sure a paint brush is not the best way.

    Restoring a Starcraft It is looking good !

    We got a old starcraft it was a shell when we got it. It looked bad we got it,but the hull has solid so we went with it. We took everything off and put a refinish on it. I didn't get a picture of it at first but here is one after we started painting it. Water line is not donr in this picture...

    Trim Wiring problem 1987 Merc Outboard 175hp

    Any help would be great;-) When I check for spark its only going on the side shown.Why not the other side? I have 2 pictures here and if you click on them it show the side I have spark on and the side that no spark is on. Please review the pictures in full size.

    1985 Yamaha 150hp satin salt water for a few years.

    Lover leg is gone! I replaced the starter good compresion on all cylinders. Here is the story when I pull the plugs it spins great. When all the plugs are in the starter has a hard time spinning. Won't start spark in all 6 is it worth fixing?
